Covid 19 Protocol

What do I need to bring?

You will need your own tools; mats, blocks, straps and/or blankets. These things are available to buy should you forget.
Bring a bottle of water and a willing heart.

What should I wear?

At The Yoga Room we like to wear clothing that is form fitting and flexible I would not recommend cotton T-shirts or shorts as these get heavy and hang when wet. Choose leggings, capris or running shorts on top I suggest tank tops, bra tops anything fitted, floaty things tend to be fidgeted with.
Learn to love what you see.

How should I prepare?

First and foremost drink plenty of water to prepare for all classes. Drinking water is part of the change. If you are doing morning classes eat a light breakfast of fruit, NO caffeine or dairy. The same applies to those going to an evening class light lunch no caffeine or dairy with a protein afternoon snack. Trust me on this when you are over the roll in Forrest or your heart rate is up in Solid60 you will thank me.
Be open to change.

How do I book a class?

Classes can be booked through the MindBody website or App. Due to the high volume of students in class, yogis are encouraged to manage their membership and class bookings through the MindBody Application.  This way you can ensure your space. Should you be unable to attend please cancel your booking to allow others a chance to take class. Students who have not arrived by five minutes before the start of class forfeit their guaranteed spot to any waiting yogis.

What are the benefits of yoga?

The benefits of yoga come in many different forms. Here are a few of the most obvious ones that come with a continued practice at The Yoga Room weight lose, increased flexibility, detoxing both mind and body, builds a strong immune system, better posture, better sleep and better sense of overall wellbeing easing aches and pains.
Feel strong be strong.

I am overweight, out of shape, and my back and knees hurt. Can I still do yoga?

Yoga is for everyone, the injured, the out of shape, and the athlete. The first step is to learn how to breathe; then one step at a time you begin to change the body, meeting each new challenge with respect. Every day you come to The Yoga Room something will be different. Slowly working your way into a practice that is best for you and your body.
Anything is possible.

Why Hot Yoga?

There are great benefits to a hot room. We at The Yoga Room have infrared panels that directly penetrate tissue, muscles and joints, allowing them to heal and regenerate. Infrared heat helps with pain relief for both minor injuries and chronic ailments helping those who are stiff to enjoy an easier practice. Sweating is your body’s natural way of flushing toxins and cleansing impurities that we ingest everyday. Last but by no means least it is a high calorie burner.
Drink more water.
